    • Work Hours: 8:15 AM - 4:15 PM; Monday - Friday; 30 minute lunch periodDESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Auditor 1 within the Firearms Administration Section, Compliance Unit, you will apply accounting and auditing principals in conducting the Unit's responsibility of managing 2,100 active firearm dealers' accounts, and monitor the dealers' compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies through conducting in house and on-site audits.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQualifications:

      • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements- Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience, and 15 college level credits in accounting;OR1 year as a Financial Programs Trainee;ORany equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes 15 college level credits in accounting and auditing.
