Job Description:
\n\nWe are representing a $600M privately held consumer products
organization who is actively seeking a Plant Controller due to a
recently announced promotion. This organization is global leader in
their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture
predicated on outstanding benefits, compensation, and employee
satisfaction. The Controller will report to the NA Director of
Finance who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.\n\n
\n\n \n \n\n \n\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\n\n Candidate will report to the
Corporate Controller and have a strong working relationship with
the Plant Manager. This will be a "working managers" position that
will require the Plant Controller to be very hands on.-- Controller
will have total ownership and accountability over the Accounting,
Finance, and Reporting function of the facility. Review and analyze
plant inventory transactions-- Reconcile all physical inventories
ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines and procedures--
Controller is responsible for leading month end close process
Maintain various records, ad hoc reporting and analysis Analyzes
financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of
costs on business Provide executive leadership with detailed
reports for use in making business decisions and controlling
expenditures Participate in projects and support GM \n\n \n \n\n
\n\nPOSTION REQUIREMENTS\n\n Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,
Finance, or similar field is required.-- Candidate should have at
least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to
demonstrate a solid "cost" background. Experience leading month end
close process is preferred Strong understanding Standard Cost and
Variance Analysis \n\n \n\n
