People from underrepresented communities, Veterans, individuals with disabilities, and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply._ Position Overview The Electronic Banking Representative is responsible for performing various duties to support the electronic banking function while providing efficient and accurate electronic banking service to customers. As an integral member of the Electronic Banking team, this individual will assist other team members and the immediate supervisor to support department operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists in other ATM-related responsibilities, e.g., machine problems, contacts with vendors, etc. Assists with processing of various customer transactions that are electronically received. Creates new records and generates new cards to replace destroyed or lost cards. Orders replacement of damaged cards. Processes ATM card orders; prepares necessary documentation and ensures that the card is properly routed. Coordinates balancing of ATMs and communicates with IT and immediate supervisor, as necessary. Responsible for following up with card processor's chargeback representative, when warranted. Supports operational requirements of gift card services, including daily inventory of gift card stock and supporting retail branch support calls/questions related to gift card procedures or sales. Develops improvements in the ATM system by suggesting and documenting new procedures and suggesting ATM system enhancements. Acts as a data processing/ATM liaison. Responsible for chargebacks, re-presentments, maintaining Regulation E log, compliance mailings to customers related to provisional and permanent credit letters, etc. Performs account reconciliation services. Processes various customer transactions, which are electronically received. Recommends improvements for electronic banking services as appropriate. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other personnel. Answers overflow calls from the call center and routes callers appropriately to other departments or branches. Helps caller with customer service issues that are within knowledge and capability to help. Assists customers with electronic banking programs and services. Assists customers with telephone banking issues, including password resets, explaining system functionality, etc. Maintains an awareness of new business opportunities with customers; actively refers customers to appropriate customer service personnel as warranted and when these opportunities are available. Performs file maintenance on system, such as adding and deleting accounts, changing member status or name and address and monitoring closed accounts. Assists the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations, as directed; may also be assigned special projects. Supports various programs and services relating to electronic banking including Internet Banking services, Online bill pay, Mobile banking services, Zelle services, Corporate Cash Management services, Online account opening and servicing, and other electronic banking services, as developed. Completes a daily review of Fraud Map to identify possible "red flags" related to online banking user log-ins and online transactions that are not routine for users. Completes daily reports/reviews and completes tasks associated with each respective report. Participates in appropriate electronic banking related internal committee meetings. Serves as back up support for the Call Center, including working intermittent Saturday's, when needed. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Completes compliance and risk management monitoring, including reviewing and managing fraud detection/monitoring services. Remains aware of account changes and regulation changes as applicable to electronic banking services and supports development of changes in Electronic Banking Department procedures, as necessary. Aids in reviewing/updating SOX workflows. Maintains accurate records on ATM cards; research record keeping errors and facilitates corrections. Responsible for communication with all relevant department staff and supervisor regarding any issues/concerns, customer impacting contact. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel. Education & Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking operations education and training. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in related positions normally required. Skill(s) Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient computer skills; technical supervisory skills sufficient to provide guidance and training to Electronic Banking Representative(s); ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects and lift items weighing 40 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.
