Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a family-oriented manufacturing team in Lebanon, Ohio. This is a contract to hire position offering part-time hours, ideal for someone seeking a flexible schedule while maintaining a key role in financial operations. The successful candidate will take on essential accounting responsibilities and provide support to ensure the company’s financial processes run smoothly. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Manage general ledger activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries. • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain accuracy in financial records. • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper alignment with company accounts. • Track and record depreciation schedules and maintain accurate fixed asset documentation. • Collaborate with the team to maintain seamless payroll processing and accounts receivable functions. • Assist with daily transactional accounting tasks as needed. • Provide support for invoicing activities and ensure compliance with company policies. • Monitor financial data and prepare reports to contribute to strategic decision-making. • Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulations • Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end and year-end closings. • Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation. • Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations with attention to detail. • Familiarity with depreciation tracking and fixed asset management. • Ability to handle payroll and accounts receivable processes effectively. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
