This is a direct-hire role offering strong stability, a collaborative team environment, and excellent benefits. The team is looking to move quickly, with interviews kicking off next week. Role Overview This position plays a key role in managing Accounts Receivable and supporting daily accounting operations. The Staff Accountant will handle cash applications, customer billing, reconciliations, membership revenue processes, and fixed asset tracking. You’ll join a tight-knit team of five and report directly to the Accounting Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities Apply and record all incoming payments: checks, cash, credit cards, ACH, and EFTs Manage full-cycle AR including invoicing, payment monitoring, and resolving discrepancies Prepare daily and weekly bank deposits Maintain accurate AR aging and reconcile customer accounts Enter fixed assets into Sage Intacct and maintain depreciation schedules Assist with membership billing and revenue recognition (training available) Contribute to month-end close, focusing on AR-related tasks Partner with internal teams and support a positive team culture Ideal Background 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with heavy AR exposure Strong reconciliation skills and comfort with high-volume cash activity Experience with ACH, credit card processing, and client account reconciliation Sage Intacct exposure is a plus (not required) Familiarity with membership revenue or subscription-based billing is helpful Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (international degrees welcome) Team-oriented, proactive, detail-focused, and strong communication skills Compensation & Perks Salary: $60K–$65K Bonus: Up to $5K annually based on performance Benefits Package Includes: Employer-covered medical, dental, vision 14 PTO days 3 floating holidays 10 sick days Paid family leave (up to 12 weeks after one year) Life insurance Parking garage access (cost-sharing) & transit benefits Work Environment Onsite full-time during onboarding, then transitions to 2–3 days onsite weekly Team meetings twice weekly Monthly and quarterly all-hands Highly supportive team with long tenure Hiring Timeline Interviews begin the week of December 2nd Expected start date: By December 31st Process includes onsite interviews and leadership conversations Background check includes criminal and credit screening Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
