Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to
lead our enterprise-wide compliance and compliance risk management
program. This role is responsible for ensuring the credit union’s
policies, procedures, and operations comply with applicable federal
and state laws and regulations, while aligning with Arize’s Risk
Appetite Statement. The Director of Compliance serves as a key
advisor to senior leadership, oversees the compliance function, and
plays a critical role in protecting the organization from
regulatory, operational, and reputational risk. What You’ll Do
Direct and oversee an enterprise-wide compliance risk management
program Analyze new and pending laws and regulations and assess
their impact on credit union operations Develop, review, and update
policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Oversee the
compliance department, including hiring, performance management,
and development of staff Monitor and administer compliance risk
management programs in accordance with applicable regulations
Oversee member disclosure compliance, including drafting,
reviewing, testing, and maintaining required disclosures Serve as
the subject-matter expert for staff regarding compliance and
disclosure requirements Prepare and present periodic compliance
reports to senior management Serve as BSA Officer, ensuring timely
and accurate BSA/AML reporting, SAR and CTR filings, and record
retention Oversee FinCEN, OFAC, fraud monitoring, and related due
diligence activities Coordinate compliance-related training across
the organization Act as a liaison with affiliated CUSOs and
external agencies on compliance matters Support the CFO with
Enterprise Risk Management reporting and analysis Investigate
compliance-related incidents, fraud, or irregularities as requested
What You’ll Bring 5-10 years of similar or related compliance
experience, preferably within a financial institution or credit
union Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-recognized
certifications Strong working knowledge of financial institution
regulations, including BSA/AML Proven leadership experience with
the ability to guide, develop, and support a compliance team Strong
analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills High level of
