THE POSITION

Bureau of Community Health Systems is seeking an Administrative
Officer 2 to join their amazing team of professionals. In this
role, you will be responsible for providing a full range of fiscal
functions for the bureau's Administrative Unit, including

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Officer 2, you will be responsible for
managing the bureau's budget of approximately $69 million. Your
work will involve managing three different appropriations: the
state health center appropriation, school health appropriation, and
a portion of the general government operation appropriation. In
addition to budget management, you will play a critical role in
analyzing and developing policies and procedures related to fiscal
and budget matters, as well as purchasing and vehicle fleet
management. Furthermore, you will train staff on their fiscal
responsibilities, approve bureau purchasing card users, and compile
monthly expenditure reports to ensure the bureau's financial
stability and success.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5
hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday,
with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to
work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must
have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work
from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to
telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters
office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year
as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or
equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the
Office of Administration); orThree years of experience in
progressively responsible and varied office management or staff
work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or
procurement; and a bachelor's degree; orAny equivalent combination
of experience and training.
