Job Description:

The Financial Reporting Manager is a newly created position that will be responsible for the company's external financial reporting. Specifically, this position will assist with footnotes and disclosures, budgeting, the close process, analyzing financial results, assisting with financial reporting implications regarding mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and assisting with the strategic planning.Responsibilities* Assist in month-end closing process, including preparation and review of certain journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC.* Review and approve footnotes, analysis or commentary, financial statements, and other supporting documentation.* Analyze monthly operating results.* Research and identifies technical accounting issues.* Ensure consistency in reporting across multiple business units.* Set standards for budgeting performance metrics and reporting.* Maintain documentation of company-wide accounting policies and procedures.* Perform special projects and ad-hoc reports as requested.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting* CPA designation is required* 7+ years' of relevant experience* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and using ERP's
