Job Description PA Media Group is seeking a talented Marketing and Events Coordinator to enhance the presence and brand awareness for PA Media Group and its affiliated brands - PennLive.com, The Patriot-News, and Penn Studios. This individual will execute and implement strategic events and marketing campaigns serving both B2B and B2C clients. Candidate must be self-motivated, possesses strong time management skills, able to execute details and manage multiple priorities along with urgent deadlines. You should have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on achieving PA Media Group's success. Working across departments and projects, excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are a necessity. Responsibilities

  • Implement, execute and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events
  • Write copy and proofread creative and content across different mediums to ensure audience connection
  • Execute multiple overlapping marketing and event programs and projects through various marketing channels and systems in accordance with budgets and time restraints
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, and database management
  • Research and recommend ideas for new marketing and event tools, channels, and technologies
  • Publish content across social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Develop and create marketing and event materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing and event opportunities Qualifications:
    • Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
    • 2+ years of hands-on, tactical marketing experience, ideally within an agency setting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with copywriting and proofreading skills
    • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
    • Solid experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Analytics certified
    • Familiarity with CRM management software experience, ideally SalesForce (we'll provide training)
    • Experienced use of MailChimp, Adobe Design, Canva, Survey Monkey Candidate will have a hybrid work schedule. There will be some evening hours required to support event facilitation. Candidate should have ability to travel within Central PA to facilitate events as required. Candidate should have ability to assist with setup and tear down of marketing and event displays and ability to lift/carry event materials as needed.
