Job Description:
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and facilities
management, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join
their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the
Industrial department supporting the operations team. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and
a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location:
Littlestown, PA Pay Range: $25 to $32 depending on experience
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm What's the Job? Perform
basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair
tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Install,
inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on
mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste
management systems following standard operating procedures. Assist
with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall,
carpentry, fixture installation, and moving furniture or materials
within the facility. Utilize a work order system to log activities
as required, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance
activities. Collaborate with trades contractors and internal
departments to complete projects or complex repairs efficiently and
safely. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or a
combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of
experience performing similar duties, including electrical,
pneumatics, and hydraulics. Working knowledge of basic tools and
proper use of tools. Knowledge of maintenance procedures and
techniques, with demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to
communicate effectively both written and verbally, and follow
