Job Description Job Description Job Title: Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician Location: Philadelphia, PA Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $23–$24/hr (based on experience) Type: Contract Role | Immediate Start About the Role We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have 5–8 years of apartment community maintenance experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Replace hot water heaters and HVAC units Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize work orders Ensure compliance with safety standards and property regulations Assist with turnover repairs and prepare vacant units Qualifications 5–8 years of apartment maintenance experience required EPA Type II or Universal Certification required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Must have own tools and reliable transportation Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Benefits Through BGSF: Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave applicable per state/local law Referral bonuses ZIPW BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
