Job Description Job Description Looking for a skilled Roofing Superintendent to lead and develop a full-time roofing crew. This role is critical in managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering top-quality roofing projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Crew Management: Supervise, hire, train, and mentor W-2 roofing crew members. Ensure efficient workflow and perform clerical tasks like timecards, schedules, and work authorizations. Step in to perform roofing duties when necessary. Project Oversight: Plan and oversee roofing projects to meet timelines and budgets. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors for smooth execution. Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure job readiness. Quality Assurance & Safety: Inspect work for safety compliance and quality standards. Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols. Address issues promptly and perform final walkthroughs to resolve defects. Reporting & Problem-Solving: Submit daily reports on labor, materials, and challenges. Identify and resolve issues to minimize project delays. Qualifications 3 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews. Knowledge of various roofing systems, including built-up asphalt. Ability to read and coordinate blueprints and project specs. Must pass pre-employment screening and lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working at heights, in varying weather, and climbing ladders.
