on us! The Role: As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a
crucial role in restoring properties affected by fire, water, and
other emergencies. Your responsibilities will include handling the
mitigation and restoration process, making a significant impact on
the lives of our clients during challenging times.
Responsibilities: Emergency Response: - Respond promptly to
emergency calls. - Evaluate the severity of damage and determine
the necessary resources and equipment. Damage Assessment: - Conduct
thorough assessments of damaged properties, noting structural and
content impact. - Document damage through photos, diagrams, and
written descriptions. Mitigation Services: - Perform water
extraction, drying, and dehumidification services following
industry standards. - Execute fire damage mitigation, including
soot and smoke removal. - Apply anti-microbial treatments. Customer
Communication: - Communicate effectively with customers, explaining
the mitigation and restoration process. - Address customer concerns
and inquiries promptly and professionally. Documentation and
Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of all restoration projects,
including time logs, expense reports, and customer communication. -
Report project progress to Emergency Services Project Manager.
Equipment Maintenance: - Ensure proper maintenance and handling of
restoration equipment and tools. - Report any equipment malfunction
or need for repairs to the supervisor. Safety Compliance: - Adhere
to all company and OSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe working
environment. - Participate in safety training sessions and stay
updated on industry safety standards. Qualifications: - High School
Diploma or equivalent. - 1-2 years of experience in the restoration
industry preferred. - IICRC certification in water, fire, and mold
restoration is a plus. - Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform
physically demanding tasks. - Strong verbal and written
communication skills. - Basic knowledge of construction and repair
techniques. - Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. -
Willingness to work on-call for emergency services. Working
Conditions: - This role requires both indoor and outdoor work,
often in varied weather conditions. - Must be available to work
on-call and respond to emergencies as needed. - Exposure to
