Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide
essential services across multiple K-12 school locations within
Howard County, MD. The role offers a contract leave position with
varied start dates and caseloads, running through June 12, 2026.
This position requires an active Maryland SLP license and in-person
availability. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language
therapy services to students across elementary and middle schools.
Manage caseload effectively, adapting to different school
environments. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and
school staff to support student progress. Maintain accurate
documentation and comply with school district protocols.
Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Caseload & Schedule Highlights: Mid-February Start: Dayton Oaks
Elementary (5 days/week) April Start: Ellicott Mills Middle School
(5 days/week) Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week, paired
caseload) Jeffers Hill Elementary School (1 day/week, paired
caseload) Laurel Woods Elementary School (5 days/week) May Start:
Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week, paired caseload) Hammond
Middle School (3 days/week, paired caseload) Full-time schedule
averaging 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications: Active Maryland SLP
license required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
preferred. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
preferred. Strong communication skills to engage with students,
families, and school personnel. Flexibility to work in a variety of
