A leadership opportunity is available for a Special Education Administrator in a K-12 public school setting located in Bedford, OH. This contract position runs through June 3, 2026, offering a 35-hour workweek dedicated to supporting an at-risk autism program serving 12 students across two classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure compliance with IEPs, ETRs, and timelines according to Ohio's operating standards. Supervise special education staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers. Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to staff on compliance protocols and best educational practices. Manage due process proceedings, mediation efforts, and state complaint resolutions as needed. Qualifications: Valid Administrator License is required. Demonstrated experience working in Special Education settings, especially with at-risk student populations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a diverse team. Knowledge of Ohio special education laws, regulations, and compliance standards. Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
