Onsite in West Chester | Full-Time/Permanent We are a full-service architecture and engineering firm for national expansions and program rollouts. Over the last 15 years, we have scaled to 13 offices across the US along with over 150 employees and counting! We are looking for a licensed Senior Electrical Designer Engineer with knowledge and understanding of basic calculations and design of building electrical systems including detailing and equipment specification for a variety of project types including but not limited to commercial, retail, restaurant, and hospitality projects. This is an exciting opportunity to help build out our East Coast team! What You Will Be Doing Perform basic or at least understand NEC demand/load calculations, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, and voltage drop calculations. Create one-line diagram, estimated electrical service size and load calculations, and design narrative for schematic design phase of projects. Perform basic power design for projects, including code research, device layout, equipment power connections, panel board circuit layout and loading, and mechanical equipment schedules. Perform basic lighting design for projects, including code research, and lighting layouts. Review shop drawings and equipment submittals. Documentation of systems design in Revit or AutoCAD. Assist in gathering field data and preparing project specifications. Communicate and coordinate effectively and professionally with project managers and internal staff.
