Job Description Job Description PLEASE APPLY AND CALL 757-755-7433 Location: Chantilly, VA Shift Options: - $17/hr-Day Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM - $19.50/hr- Night Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM - - Includes $2.50/hour shift differential for night shift Job Summary The Maintenance Technician I supports equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance activities under supervision. This role works closely with production and Health & Safety teams to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and legal standards. Key Responsibilities - Install and commission new mechanical and electronic equipment in accordance with safety guidelines - Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on production equipment - Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues - Coordinate equipment repairs and inspections with production staff - Work with Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements - Track and document equipment performance indicators - Follow all PPE and safety protocols at all times Required Qualifications - Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge - Familiarity with maintenance tools, procedures, and safety practices - 1–2 years of relevant maintenance or technical experience - Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment - Exposure to preventive maintenance programs - Basic understanding of equipment performance tracking Physical & Work Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching - Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment components - Strong visual inspection and reading skills - Must wear required PPE including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves PLEASE APPLY AND CALL 757-755-7433 Company Description Kelly helps companies recruit and manage skilled workers and helps job seekers find great work in industries such as accounting and finance, education, engineering, government, manufacturing and production, technology, and more.
