POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Data and AI Strategy is a senior level role, reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, that requires experience and demonstratable success in spearheading strategy in emerging technology areas such as AI in the healthcare IT and imaging informatics markets.

This big idea thinker role is broadly accountable for defining the AI strategy for Change Healthcare Enterprise Imaging and detailing and transitioning a practical product and services model to leadership and product management. In addition, this role will be responsible for external thought leadership, client engagement and evangelism of the CHC AI solutions for medical imaging.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Developing and aligning AI strategy at a leadership level and distilling the strategy into practical product and services business models

+ Identifying and spearheading key partnerships, new business opportunities related to AI and supporting build vs. buy decisions

+ Working with cross-functional stakeholders to transition AI strategy to our product roadmap and development lifecycle

+ Responsible for external thought leadership with clients/industry and evangelism of AI roadmap and strategy.

+ Building and presenting business cases to support funding and execution of strategy

+ Being the client facing subject matter expert in critical sales engagements

MINIMUM JOB Qualifications

Education / Training:

+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience.

Business Experience:

+ 8+ years of experience in health IT desired, preferably in one of the following digital segments: medical imaging, population health management, clinical workflow automation, clinical decision support.

+ 5+ years of experience defining commercially successful AI solutions and/or strategies for medical imaging

+ 3+ years of relevant experience with health data platforms and working knowledge of Health IT standards

+ Thought leadership in the area of new and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics, informatics, clinical workflow and patient pathways.

Specialized Knowledge / Skills:

+ Expertise with solutions, vendors and customers in medical imaging informatics, diagnostics and workflow settings and an expert of trends at vendor and provider levels.

+ Speaking engagements on "big idea" topics in industry-related events and related networks for medical imaging such as SIIM and RSNA on the topic of AI.

+ Current and proven influencer in AI thought leadership in medical imaging with organizations such as Stanford AI Lab, ACR, SIIM AI governance and/or other industry forums

+ Proven ability to rally industry interest to the point of action in areas of emerging technology and solutions

+ Establishing, communicating, and publishing strategic vision and strategy for technology and clinical solutions

+ Customer-facing presentation and information discovery that supports the successful delivery to clients

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment.

+ Advanced problem solving and critical reasoning skills

+ Strong internal negotiating skills

+ Strong personal energy and ability to energize others

+ Ability to make timely decisions

+ Ability to manage multiple projects that might be geographically widespread
