As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated team that cares and values those we serve.Benefits offered: In addition to your base pay, you are also eligible to receive:Paid time off, Catastrophic (CAT)/Sick time, Birthday holiday, and 7 paid holidays.Medical, Dental & Vision,Company paid life insurance.Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramJob Summary: The Clinical Director, reporting to the CMO, is directly responsible for assuring the delivery of high-quality patient services that meets the patient and the community focused goals of Hamilton by providing administrative, clinical, and operational oversight of the medical, dental and behavioral health departments.In addition, the Clinical Director is responsible for the ensuring proper coordination of the Patient Centered Care Model (PCCM) within each assigned site in a manner that is both cost efficient and meets all regulatory agency requirements. This includes establishing work schedules, clinic assignments for staff, recruitment, staff development, employee relations, performance appraisals and monitoring time/attendance. Working with the CMP and Quality Director, this position is responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance with approved standards of care and assuring clinical staff are appropriately trained in accordance with state and national licensure and accreditation requirements.This position is a member of the Hamilton Leadership Team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Clinical Director, in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer and Quality Director performs a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:Direct and supervise site manager(s) in assigned location(s) with day-to-day operations to improve productivity and customer service for efficient, quality healthcare. Oversee and participate in the peer review process, complete annual performance reviews of assigned staff to ensure performance goals related to production, clinical quality and regulatory compliance are met.Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to identify, prioritize, implement, and monitor progress of information system enhancements and upgrades, as well as new system rollouts and stabilizing the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).Lead process improvement initiatives focused on improving patient safety, maintaining compliance, and optimizing efficiency.Make recommendations for capital expenditures to ensure adequate, safe equipment is available for patient treatment. Works collaboratively with Hamilton administration and departments to provide integrated PCCM services and further the mission of Hamilton Health Center.Monitor patient/employee relations and patient/employee satisfaction activities using periodic patient/employee surveys. Develops and implements action plans to increase employee engagement and improve patient satisfaction while demonstrating the ability to use tact and diplomacy when deal with patient complaints and employee relations issues.Collaborates with the Director of Quality to oversee quality initiatives for sites as defined by CMS, compliance as defined by the Joint Commission.Maintain performance improvement activities within assigned sites and participates in CQI and the Joint Commission continuous improvement activities.Determine the staffing needs of the nursing services department necessary to meet the total clinical needs of Hamilton patients.Develop, maintain, and periodically updates the written clinical policies and procedures as necessary. Assists in the development and implementation of Provider and Nursing education with respect to clinical issues and changing priorities.Acts as a Liaison between quality and clinical personnel to ensure all Joint Commission and quality regulations are being met. Ensures and monitors adequacy of laboratory services including "point of care" testing.Works closely with site manager (s) to ensure charge capture is done accurately and timely to maximize revenue streams. Collaborate with the CMO and Chief Financial Officer in developing the annual clinical budget and monitor productivity against budgeted targets.Directs information and financial data to analyze and measure performance. Develops and implements appropriate action plans to enhance site performance. Performs productivity analysis for providers and staff.Monitors clinic staff to assure that they are following established safety regulations related to quality and Joint Commission standards.Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operation of department including staffing and patient visit ratios, scheduling, cost-benefit of programs; advise on facilities and equipment purchases and repairs.Assist Human Resources in the recruitment of staff; development of job descriptions, evaluation standards and continuing education programs for assigned staff.Investigates patient clinical complaints and reports findings in accordance to organizational policies and procedures.Work within the parameters as defined by Hamilton's Quality Department and follow established protocols to meet the requirements of regulatory agencies.Participates in the Hamilton's efforts related to revenue cycle, which include but are not limited to achieving goals for productivity; meeting or exceeding revenue targets; and expense management as budgeted. Ability to clearly execute plans of action and communicate medical and dental regulatory strategies with all internal and external stakeholders, to include the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and Leadership.Minimum Education/Certifications: Registered Nurse or CRNP with bachelor's or master's degree in Healthcare Administration. FQHC or non-profit is preferred. Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in a community-based health organization, Minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in community clinic or related healthcare facility required. Experience managing multiple sites. Prior FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) experience preferred. Knowledgeable in The Joint Commission regulations preferred.Other Requirements: Reliable transportation to travel throughout the service area.
