VeloSource has a Thoracic Surgery opportunity open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mechanicsburg is 8 miles west of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- Support providers in OR for robotic cases and bronchoscopies- Round on inpatients at two hospital locations- See post op patients in clinic setting 1 to 2 times a week- APPs work 4- 10 hour shifts a week- There is no on call or weekend work- Will rotate schedule, one week off Friday the next week off Monday -- Active PA License -- Board Status: Board Certified -- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS - -- Minimum Years Experience: 2 - - - -- M-F - 7a-5p - No Call- Rounding in the morning with provider and resident at one location- Assisting on cases in OR at the other location- Reviewing inpatient list to make sure everything was done, prepare patients for discharge- Occasionally see post op patients in clinic for 30 minute appointments - -- EMR: Epic -
