VariedPenn State Health is seeking a full-time audiologist to join
our team!The Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is
looking to add to our audiology team! We specialize in audiometric
diagnostics, electrophysiologic testing, vestibular disorders,
traditional amplification, and implantable hearing solutions. We
are the only area hospital that offers sedated auditory brainstem
response testing. The Penn State Audiology service line within the
Department of Otolaryngology provides a complete range of
audiological assessments and (re)habilitation services with
patients ranging in age from newborns to elders.This fast-paced
position provides services for the prevention, identification,
diagnosis, consultation, and (re)habilitation of patients with
communication disorders resulting from hearing differences.
Teaching, lecturing, and research opportunities exist through Penn
State University and the College of Medicine, though this is not a
requirement of employment. Collaboration with professionals in the
educational systems, Department of Health EHDI programs, and
professional academies are supported.The ideal candidate would work
both independently and as part of a larger team. Interest and
experience with implantable hearing solutions, electrophysiology,
and vestibular evaluations are a plus.Minimum Qualifications:Au.D.
or Ph.D. requiredCurrent Pennsylvania licensure as an audiologist
or license eligibilityEnglish proficiencySchedule:Full TimeSchedule
details:Monday through Friday, though 4 days/week may be
arrangedLocated at the Hershey Medical Center and Lancaster
