  • The Imaging RN is responsible for providing pre-post care, assessing patient health problems and needs, providing education, maintaining medical records, and administering moderate sedation intra procedure, while working in a team environment.
  • Looking for RNs that have critical care, trauma, ED and IR backgrounds.
  • Care of the patient include, IV starts, general procedure preparation, procedural sedation, managements of emergency events, and maintenance of a safe patient environment.
  • Shifts are mainly 8hr day shift, Monday-Friday, 07:30-5:00, with an on call rotation during nights and weekends.
  • Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides professional nursing care at the intermediate practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital.
  • The Imaging Department performs a variety of inpatient and outpatient services specializing in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of ED/ICU RN experience required
    • Registration and current RN license in PA
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
    • All travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
    • Travelers must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agency for vaccine declination
    • Independently recognizes subtle changes in condition and modifies plan of care accordingly
    • Safely and independently administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions based on assessment and plan of care
    • Initiates emergency action in response to acute risk situations
    • Evaluates patient care and promotes goal-directed change to achieve patient outcomes
    • Independently evaluates and monitors the effectiveness of interventions and progress toward outcomes for more complex groups of patients
    • Initiates interdisciplinary collaboration in evaluation of patient progress
    • Identifies and facilitates individualized patient needs for transfer/discharge and includes patient/family in decisions
