See for yourself the amazing changes at Spring Creek!Requirements of the Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN):Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in this stateBachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.Two (2) years of experience preferred as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care Facility. Must have, as a minimum of six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilitiesMust possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) required - Able to be obtained after hire!Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.Responsibilities of the Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN):Make comprehensive wound assessments and create plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for residents throughout the Facility.Provide residents, family and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, fistulas, and ostomies, support surfaces, dressing selections and other therapies.Provide general direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel. To monitor the performance of CNAs/GNAs, nursing and non-licensed personnel, provide education and counseling, perform disciplinary action as necessary, and complete performance evaluations.Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our Facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.Take pride in your career and join an organization where your talents will shine!
