Licensed Practical Nurse (10 Months) provides practical nursing
care to patients and clients under the direction of a physician or
a registered nurse. Work of this class involves no supervisory
duties or responsibilities.Incumbents receive moderate supervision
from a technical superior. Employees in this class may work
rotating shifts including evenings and weekends. Work is performed
in a clinic, an office or the client's home where they may be
exposed to illness, disease and stressful conditions. Work requires
minimal physical exertion.Minimum Qualifications:On or before the
date of filing the application, each candidate must:Experience:
Have Two years of experience as a licensed practical
nurse.ANDLicense, Registrations, and Certifications: Current
licensure as a practical nurse in the State of Maryland or
practical nurse licensure from a Multi-State Licensure Compact
participant state is required.
