weeks Job Description: The RN is responsible to the Unit
Director/Manager for the overall nursing practice on the assigned
shift. In their absence, the RN reports to the Clinical Supervisor,
Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator. The Registered Nurse
delivers professional nursing care based on current knowledge and
evidence-based practice using the nursing process. This includes
assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans,
implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating care outcomes.
Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, mental,
and emotional conditions Develop and implement care plans tailored
to patient needs Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure
quality patient outcomes Provide education and emotional support to
patients and their families Maintain accurate and detailed patient
records Function effectively as a team member and advocate for
patients Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN
experience required License: Active RN license in the State of
Pennsylvania Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Must meet
American Heart Association standards BLS must be renewed every 2
years Skills & Competencies: Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal
communication skills Professional demeanor with patients, families,
and healthcare team Ability to function with emotional resilience
in high-pressure situations Tact, sound judgment, and a
patient-centered approach Team-oriented with effective liaison
