Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a state-of-the-art healthcare system in Philadelphia, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to high-quality patient care. /n Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm - 7am. /n - Review in-patient records, including admission details, physician orders, history, exams, lab results, and respiratory data to support accurate clinical assessments. /n /n - Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment as prescribed, ensuring functionality and patient comfort. /n /n - Perform patient assessments to evaluate therapy effectiveness and document findings accurately in the medical record. /n /n - Administer therapeutic procedures to maintain oxygenation and airway patency, including humidification as needed. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of clinical experience. /n /n - Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). /n /n - Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). /n /n - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
