Job Description:
Director of Therapy St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital is a
state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have
experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized
treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer
customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific
needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological
conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic
injury. St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the

comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. We are
accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our
Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and our Stroke,
Brain Injury and Amputation Specialty Programs. How you'll
contribute: - Responsible for the direction and oversight of
Therapy Services for the hospital. - Coordinates and supervises
operations of the department. - Maintains performance improvement
activities within the department and participates in continuous
quality improvement hospital wide. - Ensures competency of all
personnel. - Assists in formulating budgets, evaluates department
performance versus budget and takes appropriate action to remain
within budget guidelines. - Develops and implements a system of
reviewing department charges, ensures that patient charges are
accurate and entered on a timely basis. - Maintains efficient and
effective department operation while requiring compliance with all
state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
Qualifications and requirements - Managerial / Leadership
experience Highly Preferred - Current state licensure as a Physical
Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language
Pathologist. - Minimum of four years of previous therapy management
experience required. - Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate,
evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel. - Effective
oral and written communication skills, in English with additional
languages preferred. - CPR Certified - Proficiency in basic
computer skills required. - Proficiency of rehabilitation skills in
discipline specific area of PT, OT or ST with the ability to treat

Occupational Therapy program - Current and unrestricted
Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are
rendered - Current CPR certification - Strong organizational and
