Gastroenterologists to their practice in their Northeast region of
Pennsylvania. Opportunities exist for General Gastroenterologists
to apply, but Hepatologists and other sub-specialties are welcome
and can be well supported. This medical center is renowned for its

As a gastroenterologist, you will have the chance to collaborate

established group of 9 GIs, with 8 GI APPs and 1 Hepatology APP. •
Opportunity for Faculty appointment with local College of Medicine
• Gastroenterologists can expect to see approximately 15 patients
per day in clinic with 12-14 per day in procedures • GI
Hospitalists can see a traditional 7 on/ 7 off schedule • Non-
burdensome call of 1 in every 5 or 6 weeks on average • Modern
state of the art endoscopy facilities with Olympus 190
scopes/processors, high-definition monitors, and most advanced
endoscope reprocessing units and storage cabinets • GIs share time
between two other hospitals within close proximity, both Level II
trauma centers • Within driving distance to large metro areas-
Philadelphia, 2.5 hours to New York, and 3 hours to Boston •
