Pediatric Nephrologist Opening in PA Located in Danville, PA - Scranton 74m; Philadelphia 150m Full-time Seeking an energetic and collaborative BC/BE Pediatric Nephrology Physician, who is committed to outstanding patient care and educational excellence Blend of office-based outpatient care and hospital inpatient consultations and admissions, along with dialysis coverage Services: peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, renal biopsy, renal transplantation Children's Hospital team of medical and surgical specialists provide care in over 30 pediatric specialties, including a 41 bed Level IV NICU and 14 bed Level I PICU Teaching and mentorship responsibilities include medical students from several affiliated institutions, and residents in our fully accredited categorical Pediatric and Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency programs An academic teaching appointment is available Many resources and opportunities exist to conduct clinical and translational research Compensation and Benefits Excellent compensation and benefits package, including relocation assistance and malpractice and tail coverage Opportunity to join our faculty overseeing residents and medical student education Research opportunities including informatics, data science, precision health, genomics, implementation science and outcomes research Support and leadership from a full range of dedicated, experienced specialists and sub-specialists Generous employer contribution to retirement 15 days and $3500 toward CME Four weeks of paid vacation time annually Professional opportunities for mentorship, growth and advancementThe Department of Pediatrics provides the full range of inpatient medical and surgical subspecialty services, including pediatric hospitalists, critical care, nephrology, gastroenterology, cardiology, genetics, infectious disease and the full spectrum of pediatric surgical subspecialties.
