Job Summary Geisinger is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician with a passion for Urgent Care to join our team at one or both of our Selinsgrove and Bloomsburg locations.Geisinger's ConvenientCare program is an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. Acute care services above and beyond what is traditionally found in outpatient urgent care centers are available for the convenience of both providers and patients. Job Duties ConvenientCare has much to offer, allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life: Attractive schedule: 14 rotating shifts/month, no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts Shifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S- S) Support staff : Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebomoy, Radiology Techs Specialized Equipment: Telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring Diagnostics: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI Hospital Admissions: If necessary, patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinic.
