Job Description:
Senior Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Clinical Psychologist to join our team, dedicated to providing
outstanding psychological services to the geriatric population. Our
mission focuses on enhancing mental health and overall well-being
for elders residing in skilled nursing facilities and assisted
living communities. As a pivotal part of our team, you will work in
a supportive and collaborative environment aimed at fostering
therapeutic success and personal growth for both our clients and
professional staff. Conduct psychological assessments and
evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. Develop
and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of
elderly patients. Collaborate with other health care professionals
to provide comprehensive care. Provide crisis intervention services
when needed. Lead therapy sessions, both individual and group,
using evidence-based treatments. Conduct research on the efficacy
of treatments and interventions specific to the geriatric
population. Document and maintain patient records ensuring
confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations. Expertise
in geriatric psychology or gerontology. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in
multidisciplinary teams. Experience with cognitive-behavioral
therapy and other therapeutic interventions. Proficiency in
clinical assessment tools and techniques. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active
state license as a Clinical Psychologist. Board certification in
Geropsychology is preferred, but not required.
