ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in York, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM • Weekend and holiday coverage as needed • Every 3rd weekend required • Floating as needed to Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) • Level I Trauma experience required • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS • Epic charting system experience heavily preferred • Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Handle approximately 260 patient visits per day in 77-bed unit • 12-hour orientation provided • Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete) • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility • May care for COVID patients • Clean nursing license required with no hits accepted Facility: This major healthcare facility features a 74-bed Emergency Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. The department includes a 3-bed trauma bay and secure behavioral health unit, plus a 22-bed Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) with telemetry capabilities and negative pressure rooms. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
