Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in York, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU Neuro /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM /n• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts preferred /n• May include one hardship shift depending on assignment timeframe /n• Every other weekend schedule required /n• Holiday coverage as needed /n• May be required to float to other ICUs or Med-Surg units (3 patient assignment) /n• 8 hours of orientation provided /n• Minimum 2 years Neuroscience ICU experience required /n• Must have strong experience with EVD, ICP monitoring, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid procedures, and embolization /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS /n• EPIC experience required /n• Care for critically ill stroke patients, post-operative neurosurgery patients, and medical overflow patients /n• Manage ICP monitoring, post IV/IA tPA administration, mechanical thrombectomy care, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring /n• Work with specialized equipment including Baxter CRRT, Natus EVD, Ceribell seizure monitoring, and NeurOptics pupillometer /n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility /n• Maximum 7 days requested time off /n• Pre-employment modules required (5-6 hours, completed pre-start) /n• Clean nursing license required with no hits accepted /n• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a 10-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit that provides specialized care to critically ill stroke patients and non-traumatic neurosurgery patients aged 18 and older. The facility maintains DNV Comprehensive Stroke Accreditation and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
