Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in York, PA. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR. /n - Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room. /n - Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient. /n - Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens. /n - Initiates corrective actions whenever needed. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania. /n - 2 years of Operating Room RN experience is required. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, PALS and OR certifications from the American Heart Association are required./n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
