This role is designed for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in pediatric intensive care, ideally in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center. The position calls for dedication during day shifts, including every other weekend and select holidays, providing a dynamic and professionally enriching environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current New York State RN license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with capability for recertification. Minimum of 3 years of recent PICU experience within the last 2 years at a similar-sized acute care hospital or trauma center. Proficient in patient care skills and nursing assessment in acute care pediatric settings. Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Clean professional disciplinary record with no suspensions or investigations. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Successful completion of pre-employment health screenings, drug testing, and criminal background checks. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric ICU patients with minimal supervision. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions in alignment with acute care standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using EPIC.
