Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift role requiring a PA or compact RN license, EPIC experience, and BLS and NIHSS certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position based in a hospital Medical Surgical unit - Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am - Weekends required every other weekend - No on-call requirements - Float to other departments may be required as needed - Patient population includes hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general med/surg cases - Care for COVID patients may be necessary - Documentation completed using EPIC EMR - Adhere to a maximum of 7 days of requested time off during contract - Holiday shifts worked as needed - Facility is tobacco and fragrance free - Candidates will be clinically screened for fit and may be interviewed by the manager /n /n Requirements/n - Active PA or compact RN license required - Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience - Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required - EPIC charting experience required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-658198.
