Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens Job Details Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania (15905) – Pennsylvania healthcare jobs Assignment Dates: February 5 and 6, 2026 Employment Type: Locum Tenens Radiation Oncology Physician Setting: On-site, inpatient and outpatient clinical support Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (0700 to 1500) Trauma Level: Level 1 trauma center Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 10 days Lodging: Facility-arranged accommodations Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,390 - $7,560 Radiation Oncology Physician Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation oncology or related healthcare jobs Required Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS Fellowship training in Radiation Oncology preferred Proficiency in advanced radiation oncology techniques (see below) Ability to provide on-site clinical coverage during scheduled hours Key Responsibilities for Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens Provide inpatient consultations and oversee scheduled radiation treatments Conduct office visits for new consults, follow-up, and treatment planning Round and consult on inpatients as required Perform new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning, and weekly on-treatment visits (OTV) Utilize advanced radiation oncology modalities, including: Brachytherapy (Intracavitary, Interstitial, Vascular/Endovascular, LDR/HDR) External Beam Therapy (Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, Superficial/Orthovoltage) Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS (CyberKnife, Gamma Knife) Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT), Total Body Irradiation (TBI), Total Skin Electrons (TSE) Treatment planning (Conventional, Beam shaping, 3D CRT, PET CT/MRI Fusion, EPI) Participation in clinical trials as appropriate Rare after-hours call for emergent consultations (no regular on-call requirement) Document patient contact hours and clinical encounters as required Ready to advance your career in radiation oncology?
