Job Description Job Description Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician Job Type: Full?Time Location: In?Person (California) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM (8?hour shifts; occasional weekends as needed) Compensation: $228,000 – $350,000 per year Benefits: 403(b), Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Retirement Plan, Referral Program Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to provide high?quality primary care services to an underserved patient population within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The ideal candidate is passionate about community health, experienced in managing adult patients with complex medical needs, and committed to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. Conduct physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning. Manage care for patients experiencing homelessness and other underserved groups. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, behavioral health, and care coordination. Utilize electronic health records to document encounters and track quality metrics. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance measure reporting. Maintain compliance with clinic policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements. Occasionally travel between clinic sites as needed. Required Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine . Valid California medical license (MD). DEA certification. Current CPR certification . Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an FQHC or community health environment. Familiarity with clinical quality measures (e.g., HEDIS, UDS, CMS metrics). Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required). Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to serving medically vulnerable and underserved communities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
