ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in York, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work night shifts 18:45-07:15 (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) • 3 or 4 x 12-hour shifts per schedule • Flexibility to rotate day/night shifts preferred • One hardship shift may be required depending on assignment timeframe • Every other weekend coverage required • Holiday coverage as needed • May float to other ICUs and Med-Surg units when needed • Maximum 7 days requested time off • 8 hours of orientation provided • Minimum 2 years Neuroscience ICU experience required • Must have strong experience in EVD, ICP monitoring, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid procedures, and embolizations • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Epic charting experience required • Care for critically ill stroke patients (ischemic and hemorrhagic) and non-traumatic neurosurgery patients 18 years and older • Provide post-operative neurosurgery and neuro-endovascular surgery care • Skills include ICP monitoring, post tPA administration care, mechanical thrombectomy support, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring • Tobacco and fragrance free facility • Manager interview required • Clinical pre-screening required to determine clinical fit Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 10-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) that specializes in caring for critically ill stroke patients and neurosurgical cases.
