Job Description:

services, is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team of
professionals. Our facilities, spanning from inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals to home health agencies, focus on
providing the highest standard of patient-centered care. As a
dietitian with Encompass Health, you will have the unique
opportunity to impact lives both within facility-based settings and
in patient homes, ensuring nutritional care that supports recovery
and overall wellness. Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions,
and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care
plans and provide nutritional counseling. Consult with physicians
and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet
restrictions of the patient. Advise patients and their families on
nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and
food selection and preparation. Monitor and evaluate the
effectiveness of meal plans, adjusting as needed based on patient
progress and needs. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan
and implement patient nutritional care. Educate patients and family
members on the role of diet and nutrition in recovery and overall
health. Prepare detailed reports on patient progress and
participate in case reviews with healthcare team members. Strong
understanding of nutrition and dietary needs in a healthcare
setting. Excellent communication and counseling skills. Ability to
develop and adhere to case-by-case nutritional plans. Proficiency
in creating and maintaining patient documentation. Strong team
collaboration skills, particularly in a healthcare environment.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
credential required. Licensed Dietitian status as per state
regulations where applicable.
