Radiology Tech Location: State College, PA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,880 to $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiology Tech - Evening Shift City/State: State College, Pennsylvania Shift: Evening shift; every 3rd weekend, 8 Hour Nights, 20:00-04:00 Contract Length: 91 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions. Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities: Perform patient care/technical duties and procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. Greet each patient in a pleasant manner. Review requests and evaluate order for appropriate exam and diagnosis. Explain the procedure in terms that the patient understands. Prepare and position patients for examinations. Demonstrate the ability to operate CR, Fluoro and DR rooms safely and efficiently. Assist the Radiologist and/or Fluoro Tech during fluoroscopic and special procedure examinations. Prepare IV and Oral contrast media for use, and administer contrast media as needed. Perform clerical duties in an efficient, timely, and accurate fashion. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a specialized training program in Radiological Technology by approved the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registered with the ARRT in Radiology. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively and to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures. Requirements Required for Onboarding Core Mandatory Part III
