Roles & Responsibilities Assess childbearing women (adolescence to middle adulthood) and newborns to identify needs and risks Perform neonatal initial assessment and stabilization, including emergency response when required Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care focused on positive outcomes Provide compassionate patient and family teaching to promote safe newborn care and maternal recovery Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless perinatal care Support and mentor current staff during the EHR transition from Meditech to Epic Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR and communicate professionally with the care team Promote family-centered care and facilitate bonding between parents and newborns Qualifications Current Pennsylvania RN licensure (required) Completion of an accredited registered nurse program Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) — renew every two years Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification — renew every two years ACLS certification per American Heart Association — renew every two years Hands-on experience in EPIC required and willingness to support staff through the Meditech ?
