Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Allentown, PA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,385 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical Neuro Unit – Pennsylvania Start Date: April 27, 2026 (firm) Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; every other weekend required; 12-hour orientation provided Highlights: 35-bed Medical-Surgical Neuro Unit specializing in comprehensive stroke care and neurological conditions Patient population includes ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, TIA, seizure, brain/spinal cord tumors, subdural hematomas, post-operative complex spine, and neuromuscular disorders Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 (days), 1:6 (nights) Epic charting system in use Strong interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more First-time travelers accepted Requirements: Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Stroke certification required NIHSS certification required ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience with neurological patient care including stroke, seizure, dementia, brain tumor, acute mental status changes, and ambulatory dysfunction Proficiency in Epic charting system required Skills required: dysrhythmia interpretation and management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, PICC line management, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, and isolation precautions Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive stroke center with a specialized neurological patient population, providing high-acuity care in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
