Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Physical
Therapist to join our team in providing comprehensive,
patient-focused care within our integrated healthcare facility. Our
facility is renowned for its commitment to enhancing patient
outcomes by delivering exceptional care tailored to the unique
needs of those recovering from life-changing illnesses and
injuries. As a Physical Therapist with us, you will play a critical
role in planning and administering medically prescribed therapy
treatments aimed at improving, restoring, and promoting optimal
physical functionality and independence in our patients. Evaluate
patients' condition and develop suitable treatment plans based on
medical diagnoses. Implement physical therapy interventions and
monitor progress of patients. Educate patients and their families
on the recovery process and future management of their condition.
Maintain accurate patient records and document patient care
services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive care. Stay updated with advancements in the field to
improve patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Expertise in
diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional
abilities tests. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state Physical Therapy license. Certification
or progression towards certification in a specialized area of
physical therapy, if applicable.
