Prepare operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing equipment
and ensuring necessary equipment is available and in working order.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other
sterile supplies, following established protocols. Help position
and prep patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Participate in post-surgical duties including dressing wounds and
transferring patients to recovery rooms. Maintain strict sterile
environments to prevent infection. Float among various surgical
units as assigned, adapting quickly to different team dynamics and
procedures. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and supplies.
Ability to maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control
protocols. High proficiency in following complex instructions and
quickly adapting to new situations. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills in a collaborative team environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required. BLS Certification
required.
