Radiology Tech Location: State College, PA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,718 to $1,912 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title Radiology Tech City/State: State College, Pennsylvania Shift: Day shift weekdays; every 3rd weekend evening shift Contract Length: 10 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions. Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities: Perform patient care/technical duties and procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. Prepare and position patients for examinations, using proper technique for positioning and views. Operate CR, Fluoro and DR rooms safely and efficiently. Assist Radiologist and/or Fluoro Tech during fluoroscopic and special procedure examinations. Demonstrate appropriate radiation safety practices and promote radiation safety of patients and staff. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a specialized training program in Radiological Technology by an approved ARRT institution. Registered with the ARRT in Radiology. Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS). Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, radiologic equipment, and procedures.
