An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students within a school setting from January to mid-May. This contract position is based in State College, PA, and offers comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will have specialized skills in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly within school environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments and progress evaluations to adapt therapy goals for each student. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and professional development as required. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience working in school settings. Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and school-based intervention strategies. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and educators. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
