Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated School Speech Language
Pathologist to join our team, focusing on delivering speech therapy
within educational settings to help students achieve optimum
success. This role is vital in assessing students’ speech,
language, voice, and fluency disorders and designing treatment
plans tailored to individual needs. This position requires an
individual passionate about enhancing students' abilities to
communicate effectively, thus improving their daily interaction and
educational achievement. Working under the Aveanna umbrella, you
will apply your specialized skills in various educational
environments, supported by a leading national healthcare provider
committed to high-quality, home-based patient care. Evaluate
students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop
and implement personalized treatment plans. Monitor and document
student progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Collaborate
with teachers, school staff, and parents to maximize student
outcomes. Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program)
meetings, providing expert input on speech therapy goals. Maintain
confidential records in compliance with state and federal
regulations. Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and
treatments. Ability to create and follow through with
individualized treatment plans. Excellent interpersonal skills to
communicate with students, staff, and parents. Proficiency in
maintaining accurate and detailed records. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid state license in
Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Relevant state education
certification (if required).
