Job Description UPMC is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support their Magee Women's Specialty Services office in Ebensburg, PA! With several office locations throughout the Altoona region, we're committed to making quality care accessible to the communities we serve. Our practices specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, offering a full range of services including annual wellness exams, prenatal and postnatal care, contraception counseling, menopause management, and office procedures. This position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This position will be responsible for rooming patients for provider, triage, in-baskets, will be trained for non-stress testing, phlebotomy, and injections. The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced practice. Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing. One year clinical experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Act 33 with renewal - Act 34 - Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal *Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
