Washington, Washington DC, 20010! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must
have a valid DC license in hand prior to start date Certifications:
ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Candidates must provide proof of
pending license status at the time of submission. - Candidates must
successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum
overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. - Every
other weekend work may be required. - Holidays may be required as
needed. - Float to ICU and Intermediate Care may be required.
Description: Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Ideal candidates should possess
advanced skills in critical care nursing. Experience with patients
following cardiac and vascular surgeries is essential. Candidates
should be proficient in various critical care techniques and
equipment. The unit typically manages a patient census of 25-32.
Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Ability to manage complex patient
diagnoses, including heart failure and post-surgical recovery, is
necessary. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced
environment and managing a high patient ratio. All required
certifications must be current before the start date. Candidates
should demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
A strong understanding of procedural sedation, blood product
administration, and monitoring of arterial lines is preferred.
Effective communication skills and teamwork are vital for success
in this role. This position requires rotating shifts, including
